It’s a dark comedy with a fairly good cast in which elderly Uncle Joe (Kirk Douglas) is richer than Hell and constantly has his nieces, nephews, and their families kissing his arse hoping to be left the fortune.

When his doctor dies and he hires a new nurse (Olivia D’abo) who likes sunbathing in the nude, they find their cousin Danny (Michael J Fox), son of Joe’s estranged brother, to try and talk sense into him since none of them have any credibility after years of infighting.

There is a good amount of B and C level talent around including, but not limited to Phil Hartman, Nancy Travis, Ed Begley Jr, Colleen Camp (Apocalypse Now, Clue, Wayne’s World), Jere Burns (Dear John, Burn Notice, Justified), Kirsten Dunst, Siobhan Fallon (SNL), and Khandi Alexander (NewsRadio, ER).

The main reason I like the movie is to see Phil Hartman playing a complete and utter scumbag in such comedic fashion.

A surprise? Shitting a sailboat is a surprise this is a catastrophe.

Literally came here to post this gem of a movie that was almost a decade ahead of it’s time.

Unknown but great: Wag The Dog

hated but loved by me: Prince of Persia

Reign of Fire is unironically one of my favorite movies.

In fact, I'd love to see a prequel with McConaughey's irregulars.

When it came out it was considered a bomb based on Jim Carrey being at the height of his powers.

It came out the same time as Nutty Professor, which was hilarious and everyone was expecting Carrey to have a comedy competition with NP. Cable Guy was far from a comedy.

I saw it in the theater when it came out.
I didn’t like it, because I didn’t understand what they were doing at the time. I was dumb.

I watched it a few years after that and it became one of my favorite Arnold movies.

Who hates The Cable Guy!?!

A ton of people hated Cable Guy when it came out. I think people started to come back around to it after a while.

I liked Cable Guy when it wasn’t cool to like Cable Guy.

Not sure if this movie is disliked by most, but I love Saving Silverman. Very quotable.

Drudge Dredd (Stallone)

"Dredd" was the Karl Urban remake.

Stallone's had the right amount of campiness to make this a fun film. That's what I also liked about Demolition Man

I love Andy Kaufman and really enjoyed Man on the Moon. Cable Guy was also great.

I love the Punisher starring Tom Jane. I have watched it dozens of times. I also really enjoyed Ghostbusters II and never got the hate for it.

This one is borderline but I am going to include the 1986 Transformers animated movie. I think more people like it now because of nostalgia but I loved it from the first time I watched it on Betamax.
