Dune (1984). I loved from the moment I saw it in the theater. I was stunned to find out that it had been panned by critics and purists, and that so many others just plain didn't understand it (and thus didn't like it).

My favorite horror/thriller film is Spellbinder (36% on RT). Most people have never even heard of it.

The Lobster. I really liked it. Everyone that I have suggested it to has absolutely hated it.

There aren't many I can think of, but the thread below (at the moment) reminds me of The Dead Don't Die which I really enjoyed; and only got a 38% on Rotten Tomatoes.

If you watch it as a stand-alone movie and don’t try to tie it back into the franchise it’s not that bad.

You just have to look past how stupid supposed scientists are to be making kissy faces with alien snake things or giant bodybuilder aliens.

Alot of people really did not like Twins 3. The basic premise of the film had be stretched in the sequel when Eddie Murphy was brought in as a newly discovered brother to Arnold and Danny. The premise was further strained in the third film when George Lopez was introduced as a newly discovered brother. It was fairly controversial at the time, but after the critically acclaimed Twins 4 was released with Catherine Zeta Jones as the new twin, the third picture kinda got lost in the shuffle. But its a very funny film.

Apparently people dislike Transylvania 6-5000 but I find it hilarious.

I also like Detective School Dropouts (1986). I'm sure the five other people who have seen it don't.

Ang Lee's The Hulk. Pre-Marvel conglomeration of all comic book movies, and it took a bunch of risks. To me...Eric Bana is Bruce Banner, way more than Ed Norton and that schlub Mark Ruffalo.

A super highly underrated film in my opinion.

Say what you will about it, at least it had the balls to get away from the time travel plot.
