Rampage is literally a movie about a deranged guy who just walks down his towns main boulevard, killing just under 100 totally innocent people who just so happen to be out and about
I always liked how he started off with the police station so no one in town could get any help.

That doesn't sound all that deranged, sounds like a plan.

I have seen it before but it popped up in late night this past weekend
If you have never seen "Private Lessons", it is one fricked up movie from the 80's
Kid is left home for the summer with his housekeeper. Ends up having a affair with her. Kid looks like he is 11 or 12 years old.

The House that Jack Built
Midsommar was a disturbing movie, but I nearly had to turn this movie off because of how brutal it was. If you want a fricked up movie, this is my #1.

The Killing of a Sacred Deer comes to mind first

The Boss Baby
Not even kidding. If you start to even think about this movie for a minute, it becomes a total mindf$&k. When the movie ends, we have no idea what actually happened or how much of it was real vs imagination. Shutter Island’s got nothing on this computer animated kids film.
It gave us probably the best ever edition of honest trailers: LINK
The reaction video is pretty great as well: LINK

"That scene" near the end is one of the worst things I've ever watched. What kind of person can even come up with the idea of that kind of cruelty. The creators of that movie are f***ed in the head.

that's not that bad. not enough for this sport of questioning
yeah it was gross and shocking, but it fit in the story and was over quickly.
even if you want to ignore the low budget shock movies (Pig, Bunny Game, August Underground, etc.) or intentionally extreme movies (Hostel, Inside, Martyrs, Human Centipede/2, Visitor Q, etc), there are plenty of much more disturbing and terrible scenes
first example is the rape scene in Irreversible. the movie Dogtooth is super disturbing without gore. then there is Gummo, Antichrist, Happiness, etc.
*ETA: let me be clear. i haven't seen all of these movies. i'm not a sicko. i just know about them

but the most messed up movie I ever saw (because it was real) was Crumb.
Saw that many years ago and you're right, the guy is strange, but his family, especially his brother was WAY stranger than him.
His brother did eventually commit suicide due to his mental illness.

I watched Wake in Fright free on Tubi and it is fricked up.
Check it out if you want to cure yourself of alcoholism or the urge to visit Australia.

i was actually looking up quotes from it this weekend. Doc Tydon is the MAN
All the little devils are proud of hell
i was actually looking up quotes from it this weekend. Doc Tydon is the MAN
quote:
John Grant : Why did you say that?
'Doc' Tydon : Say what?
John Grant : About them being proud of hell.
'Doc' Tydon : Discontent is the luxury of the well-to-do. If you've got to live here, you might as well like it. Why don't you like Crawford?
John Grant : Jock?
'Doc' Tydon : The touch of his hairy hand offended you.
John Grant : I'm bored with it. The aggressive hospitality, the arrogance of stupid people who insist you should be as stupid as they are.
'Doc' Tydon : It's death to farm out here. It's worse than death in the mines. You want them to sing opera as well?
quote:
'Doc' Tydon : Shall I satisfy your curiosity? I'm a doctor of medicine, and a tramp by temperament. I'm also an alcoholic. My disease prevented me from practicing in Sydney. But out here it's scarcely noticeable. Certainly doesn't stop people from coming to see me. I charge no fees because I'm not interested in money. Anyway, I'm unreliable. But I'm accepted socially because I'm an educated man... or character. I get my food from my friends... my requirements in beer. Which, with some measure of self-control, is the only alcohol I allow myself.

Gummo was pretty fricked up, and so was Nowhere.

I've seen all these movies, I am a sicko. I have Inside and Martyrs on dvd. For some reason Frontiers is always overlooked when people talk about the French extreme horror movies but its one of the best of the bunch. Easily better than Inside or High Tension.
