Jim: Oscar! tell them we got locked in.
Oscar: why do you assume they speak only Spanish?
Oscar: we locked ourselves in
cleaning crew with a confused look
Oscar says something in spanish and cleaning crew nods and lets them out.
Oscar: they just so happen to speak spanish.
Jim: lucky us

Michael to Oscar: "where did you see that?"
Oscar: "it's in the manual."
Michael: "Manuel who?"

Watching now and that scene came on and reminded me of this old thread. Had to bring it back.

Classic.

Watching early seasons now. Michael is giving a tour of the warehouse and introduces Daryl and says "he is actually the foreman and not Roy surprisingly"

Michael: is there a term besides "mexican" that your prefer? Something less offensive?
Oscar: How is it offensive?
Michael: Well.... I... it has certain connotations..
Oscar: What would those be?

My favorite one, likely because I've met people in real life who act like the word is racist. Like they'll whisper it instead of saying it out loud.

“Did you know that gay used to mean happy? When I was growing up, it meant weird. And now, it means a man that makes love to other men.”

Michael Scott: No, no, no, no. No. The kids don't wanna hear some weirdo book that your Nazi war criminal grandmother gave you.
Sasha: What's a Nazi?
Michael Scott: What's a Nazi?
Dwight K. Schrute: Nazi was a fascist movement-
Michael Scott: Don't!
Dwight K. Schrute: From the 1930s in Germany-
Michael Scott: Don't, don't talk about Nazis in front of. You know what? They're gonna have nightmares. Why don't you just shut it?
Dwight K. Schrute: I was gonna teach the children how to make cornhusk dolls.

What about the time Michael brought the two servers from Benihana back to the office Christmas party and couldn't remember which one he'd been running his game on. Then he eventually figured it out and marked her arm with a sharpie.

That actress went on the interview/podcast circuit a year or so ago complaining about how racist and uncomfortable that episode was

I'm sure she was so offended cashing the check

I've been watching The Office Superfan Episodes. I can't remember if this one was in the original episode or not.

Angela and Kelly are talking to Charles Minor in the conference room. Michael walks in and says "Angela and Slum Dog Millionaire, you can leave now" hahaha

Superfan Episodes are great. BTW.

This was a fun thread.

I watched that episode last week and I am almost convinced that they changed actresses during the episode because at one point I couldn't tell which one he liked either.

When they first walk in the office from Benihana one of them is legit cute (with makeup on) and one was meh, so it is pretty easy to tell which is which. But then in the pic you posted neither of them are really cute nor do they have makeup on. So they are definitely trying to trick the viewer IMO.

From Wikipedia:

"The actresses who played the women that Andy and Michael bring back to the office were different from the actresses who played the waitresses in the Benihana restaurant. According to the show's prop master, this was because Andy and Michael failed to pick up the original waitresses, and settled for "less attractive ones"."

The joke was supposed to be that the original waitresses were hot, but they had to settle for the ones that weren't. It backfired, because the replacements were still pretty.

Michael: Kevin, you are so racist. You only think that because you think Martin is black

Kevin: Martin is black

Michael: Stop it
