Kill Bill is the movie the woke crowd wants , but will never achieve.

They can't get out of their own way long enough to realize the story is what counts.
In a way Kill Bill is a pretty woke movie, but nobody gives a shite because the story is awesome.
If your priority is to check the box of gay, black, women, Trans, or anything else, and you place it above the story, you will fail.
The people that roll their eyes and call you out are not white supremacist. They're movie fans that see your bullshite.

This is exactly correct. Another example would be Aliens. Letting your story develop organically without politics is what works.

i made the same argument about Wheel of Time. It had everything. multiple races, homosexuality, bisexuality, polyamoury, interracial relationships... everything except trans.

I don't think polyamory is covered in Arcane, but the rest are.

I've never thought of Kill Bill as being woke. Opinions will vary of course but myself I don't think something is woke simply because it has a variety of people in it, it's when they get to wagging their fingers in your face about it or getting too preachy is when I get turned off.
