Serious question. Does anyone on any ranch anywhere live in a bunkhouse? I guess room and board are necessary when you’re making $100 per week.

He’s made some comments that Sheridan had lost focus and was trying to expand the Yellowstone universe too much. This led to a lot of scheduling conflicts and filming plans stayed up in the air where Costner couldn’t make other commitments. I could see that being true about Sheridan spreading everything a bit too thin.

Ever since it’s fallen under the MTV studio umbrella the show has taken a nose dive along with Costner getting fed up with what’s going on. And now you had the leak smearing Costner as greedy so he just flat out said “frick em, I’m done.” It sucks but can’t blame Costner, at least he has a backbone.

Illegals live in trailers on the farms around here.
I doubt it's a reach on the show considering distances can be pretty great in Montana. Even if they are not where the ranch supposedly is. (Just south of Livingston MT)

The show started to lose me when it became apparent the writers wanted us to think Beth could do no wrong, and Jamie could do nothing right. Like it was his fault she got knocked up and turned to a 16 year old kid for help. And for that anything she did to him for the rest of their lives was perfectly acceptable, and he was a jerk for doing everything his father asked him to.

Costner says he wants to have some freedom for his schedule
Yellowstone shoots during the warm weather months in Montana
So Costner is booked doing Yellowstone during summer and fall and can't do anything else
Production refused to make accommodations for his schedule so they parted ways
