Well I mean, he’s the same character in everything he ever does. I think he doesn’t ever actually act. And I have heard from several different people that he is an absolute a-hole in real life.

Has splitting a season ever been a good idea? All it does is kill momentum for the show. Hell, I don’t even remember what the plot was for Yellowstone for the first part of the last season.

So you have to be a lib to have heard Costner is an a-hole and is the exact same in every role he’s ever done? Weird take man.

If he didn’t want to be known as an a-hole, I would recommend him to not be an a-hole so prevalently to others that you are known as an a-hole. This is not a new thing. These stories span his entire career.

Show has been dogshit since season 3. Maybe Sheridan can write himself into more scenes dancing on a horse.

Robinhood was just comically bad

Exactly.
This movie is the perfect example of his lack of ability and depth.
Evidently, he was not even able to attempt an English accent.
Casting Morgan Freeman and Sean Connery only exacerbated the chasm between good acting, and what Costner does.
His movies are good, and I like them.
He is pretty much the same in every movie, and I don’t think he is “acting“ at all. I think that’s just how he is.

I would imagine a lot do. Those large ranches may be an hour from a town to where you are trying to get to. And there can be emergencies on the ranch that require a fast response.

I looked at working at Yellowstone (ironically) back when I was 18 and graduated high school for a couple summers. The kids they hired had a bunkhouse they would put you in with about 8 or 9 others and they paid you basically nothing but it was supposedly a great time and experience. I never did follow through because I had other bills to pay and college to start.
