First season amazing. Then stop.

This.

Reminds me a bit of True Detective. Both Season 1's are amazing. The rest is crap.

Liek all posters say. Stop after Season 2.

It goes off the rails.

I'd watch it all. It does get confusing after Season 1 but you learn more about the background of all that happened in the first season.

Yeah, I remember reading that Nolan was traumatized by viewers figuring some things out before the S1 finale and wanted to make sure that never happened.

But Season 1 was great television.

Considering it was directed by Crichton it's pretty damned good. I didn't realize he directed so many of his early books-to-film until I just looked it up.

Season 2 was a let down and it’s been 8 years since it aired but I do recall it having a couple absolutely exceptional episodes. Riddle of the Sphinx and another where they followed the Ghost Nation hosts in the early days.

The movie seems pretty dated today, imo…

The series was different.

I don’t disagree, I think there are some good aspects and ideas in each season except maybe the last.

First season is great.

Second season has four really good episodes, the rest are meh.

Third season: devolves into lousy scripts, girl boss fights, and dumbing everything down.

Fourth season: Descent into total nihilism. Scripts and plots get much worse. Almost unwatchable, a shame considering the cast.
