re: Is Westworld any good?

I'm one of the few that enjoyed all of Westworld.

Season one is hands down the best and could easily be viewed as a standalone season. Would probably be one of the greatest mini series of all time if it was just one season.

Season two has a few of the best episodes of the entire series though. I think it's worth a watch for The Riddle of the Sphix, Akane no Mai and Kiksuya alone. Thee top tier episodes of TV. But just be warned that season two is very confusing and odds are you are going to have to read up a bit afterwards to fully understand it. That's the reason it gets so much hate, people think the writers started to like the smell of their own farts and made it too complicated.

With the final two seasons the show shifts into full sci fi. I will say, despite not being as good as season one or two, it is probably the best looking sci fi series ever put on TV. It looks better than most big budget sci fi movies. Blade Runner 2049 vibes.
