I feel like we already had a pretty damn faithful adaptation (at least as faithful as you can get condensing a 600 page book into two hours). I'd much rather see a Tom Riddle origin story or a continuation that undoes the Cursed Child

with this format you can dedicate entire episodes to explore James, Lily, Snape, Severus, Lupin etc when they were students.

It's going to be pure woke trash and JK Rowling's status as a TERF will really set the trannies ablaze looking to trans whatever they can get their hands on.
These things are 100% certain:
1. The main character will be female. 100% chance of this happening. Race...50/50 white/non-white, but it will be female.
2. One of the supporting characters will be LGBTQ, most likely the most prominent supporting character.
3. One of the other supporting characters will be a prominent non-white if the main character isn't white.
4. Any white male character will be represented as either evil, weak, or a coward. They're the bad guy or the biggest coward if they're on the good guy side.

The movies did a pretty good job of adapting the books considering the time limitations. All before the Halfblood Prince were damn-near perfect. From the Half-Blood Prince to the end, I could see a series really fleshing it out and being outstanding if done correctly.
Considering HBO's track record, I'll at least give it a chance.
