I did this a while back for San Francisco, some great responses. The setting does so much for me in terms of movies and shows. Doesn’t matter the genre, although I can appreciate a movie like Tightrope that shows the old gritty underworld of New Orleans. Whatcha got?

"Everybody's All American"

Hearing Pre-game and watching TGBFTL march down the state capitol steps made me happy in my pants!

"Deja-Vu" Denzel was very good in this one, and it avoided most of the cliched New Orleans tropes.

In The Electric Mist
Christmas on the Bayou

Mainly because they were both shot in my hometown

Honorable Mention to Dukes of Hazard....because I was at LSU during filming and got to see some of it being filmed

A spoof set in the 1930s about the Louisiana governor buying the best college team possible.

I would put Down by Law up there.
Monster's Ball, though I haven't seen it in a while.
And the only good Pitch Perfect (the first one and vested interest applies).

Not a movie, but I thought Your Honor did well by New Orleans.
