God I cant stand that actress. I didn't think anyone could top Brie Larson on the bitch scale but Zegler does it.
She clearly hates the original film. I mean, she really despises it and never misses a chance to tell the press how much she hates it. Why did she take the role then? I guess just to destroy it.
Now she says the film does not have a love story and that the few scenes with the Prince should get cut. It is all about her empowerment and no pesky man can get in the way.
So no love story. No dwarves. No mirror mirror on the wall. No "Someday my Prince will come" song as it is now "problematic". No "skin as white as snow". Stepmother is no longer jealous of her looks but rather her intellect?

WB dropped a fully shot Batgirl. You can’t release it without SOME publicity which is just going to sink their profits.
Then if you do release it without a media campaign and it tanks the cast and crew is going to crucify the studio for leaving them out to dry.

Hollywood is such a liberal bubble they think most of the world agrees with their ultra progressive thoughts. It’s really fascinating. This chick has no idea the amount of damage she’s doing to her own brand and the $$$ it will ultimately cost her. She’s not pretty enough to get away with saying whatever she wants, which is a cruel thing to say, but as she mentioned “it’s Hollywood baby.”

I thought she was great in West Side Story and had a ton of potential. Obviously, casting companies thought the same with her getting important parts in the new Hunger Games and Snow White (in Shazam as well).
But there just seems to be an entitlement now that I didn’t feel like was previously there. It could be the Hollywood influence, or getting a lot of fame and press early on in life the same way we sometimes see athletes get incredibly arrogant with early success.
Not that I necessarily want to see someone get humiliated, but I do think there needs to be a sense of comparison to the rest of society that can humble someone. She’s probably made multiple millions of dollars before the age of 25. Can understand why entitlement is creeping in.

True enough. Honestly, this movie is doing more harm than good to Disney right now, and they really don't need any further bad press at this time.

This is an actual good example of, "why not just make a new movie" It's clear they have zero desire to stick to the original story at all. Don't call it Snow White.
Say what you will about Halle Bailey and the Little Mermaid, but from her interviews, she was actually excited to play the role. She mentioned how she loved the movie and the character growing up. While they did make some changes, for the most part, it stuck to the original plot.

This is the case every time with these woke race-swapping pieces of shite. Don't trash the memory of the beloved original classic, just make a movie with an entirely new story and characters. It looks like they took inspiration from Snow White and the Huntsman and went even further with the feminist angle.

The actress called the prince in the original Snow White a stalker. This will not end well for Disney.
