Yea it's Nolte but I don't see him doing much so I doubt he'd turn down the work.

Yeah I think we’ll get some cool voice cameos here and there.

BTW: I’d kill for a badass Mandalorian video game that’s basically Red Dead Redemption set in space. Cool story but open world bounty hunting too with tons and tons of side quests

I don’t mean it in a disparaging way. Just with a nameless protagonist and arcs having side quests and boss battles (rhino and the shootout) plus a helpful stranger that you meet along the way. I could see this being played in a game.

Told my buddy this as we were watching Chapter 2.
ETA: my only qualm with this episode was how easily he took out the rhino with a pocket knife

Love this show and I’m a sucker for anything Star Wars

I’m one of the few that hadn’t minded episode 7 and 8

Anyone feel that baby Yodas CGI looked cheap when he was eating? Looked like gremlins in the 80s. Lol. Still love the show

I know I'm in the minority, but this show is exceptionally mediocre so far. The Mandalorian does not feel like the badass everyone claims he is. Pacing is off especially with the shorter show length. The cinematography is hit & miss and I really can't stand the score. If TLJ & SOLO didn't suck so hard I doubt people would be praising this so much.

Also, they're definitely pushing this & all of its nostalgia-inducing elements/easter eggs out to get some goodwill before the train wreck that The Rise of Skywalker will be when it comes out.

Seems pretty badass to me

Strongly disagree. The pacing is amazing. And honestly that's likely because of the shorter length

SOLO was better than people gave credit for

What nostalgia-inducing elements/Easter eggs are you referring to?

Jawas? They exist in the universe
The Force? It exists in the universe
A baby Yoda-species? They exist in the universe

There has yet to be any sort of cameo or mention of a “Skywalker” or Battle of Endor, or anything like that....only that the Empire fell.

I think they’ve done a great job of not hitting you over the head with references to the OT or PT. I hope it stays that way. So I don’t know what you mean there.

Well I guess now we know what Vader meant when, in Empire, he said to Boba Fett .."no disentigrations"

I agree with this. The voice doesn't fit the character. Also, he gets punked out by Jawas.

I think it's a beautiful show. It's obvious a ton of money was dumped into this thing.

That's a complaint I have. There's barely a score at all.

About as big as a folding buck knife even.

Maybe there is more to it, like poisonous blade or baby yoda damaged when lifting. Though it was a little goofy

If Anakin was still alive in this show how old would he be. After watching with my son he said the baby Yoda could have been born same time as Anakin. Balance in the force type thing.

I wont spoil anything but based on research several plot points in this series are being used to set up what is going to happen in Ep.IX.

Wouldnt shock me if they are going to use the Mandalorian to make up a plot where Anakin was never the chosen one.

Star Wars fans: Get a complete badass female Jedi who faces no challenges and never fails at anything = Mary Sue

Also Star Wars fans: Get a complete badass bounty hunter that faces challenges and fails quite a bit = horrible character and totally not a badass because he fails

Did you even read the thread? Hes clearly in the minority here and got downvoted. But sure just blindly assume all star wars fans agree with that take.

Easy. He was 9 in The Phantom Menace, 19 in Attack of the Clones, 22-23 in Revenge of the Sith, 43 in A New Hope, 46 in Empire and 47 when he died.

He would have been 52 in this series and would have been in his mid 70s in The Force Awakens.

I was thinking the same thing he hates Mary Sues but loves Chads.

As for the Mud Horn kill giving the benefit of the doubt to the writers I assumed the Mandalorian knew about its weak point. Someone else mentioned in one of the threads it has a video game feel, which I kinda agree with, in that vein most bosses have a vulnerability which can be exploited in specific circumstances being levitated made hitting an exact point easy, or it could be a poison blade or just a weakness in the plot.

So he's close to same age as baby Yoda.

I like the theory that Palpatine used the force to create Anakin as well as other force sensitive babies with this baby yoda being one of them.

I really hope it's not a clone or yoda's child.
