re: 2026 Firearm Deals Thread

I really wanted to use the MOE SL grip for its angle, beaver tail, and just overall looking similar to the traditional HK grip as far as shape. Had to do some epoxy work to close up some gaps, as the beaver tail does not fit to the lower. But I like how it turned out for sure.

I’m curious of your results as well, as mine is utilizing a SS not an ARC. I’ve had a SS in mine with a Lee lower from back before the Atrius and ARC lever type ones came out. I’ve been happy with it, but the ARC people are supposedly coming out with HK style levers for theirs. So I plan on making the swap if those ever drop.

Fwiw, mine wouldn’t cycle correctly suppressed in forced reset, with 147gr subs, with an 80 degree locking piece. Runs flawlessly with the factory one though.

Good to know- thanks. I’ve tried a couple of premade bottles and they’re ok, but not great. I’ll definitely look that recipe up.

This is serviceable as far as store bought in a pinch.

There is a line on it that they recommend reaching when inserting, to protect the internals. I’ve never had a problem achieving that, but I guess that varies depending on your uses.

Have all of these plus a Signals. Can’t recommend them enough, all work exceptionally well, and Thermoworks customer service is outstanding.

Yeah but it ain’t exactly huge back there. Obviously doesn’t matter for grocery getting, but it’s noticeable if you try to throw something large back there. I hate how they locked you into a hybrid if you want a higher end trim package. Luckily she didn’t care for any of the stuff that comes with them, and wanted a regular TRD Off Road. I didn’t want a hybrid, and (to me) the screen in the higher packages is obnoxiously big.

The wife loves hers, I avoided the hybrid though. The turbo four banger is pretty peppy and fun to drive. Banks is releasing all kind of stuff for it too.
ETA: one thing to add about the hybrid, the batteries are in the cargo area, so you lose quite a bit off the height back there.

Serna needs to catch, put Braun and Yamin at 1st/DH.

Kill the ignition and check it while not running again. Turn on your headlights for 10-20 seconds or so and see if it drops down around 12.2 or lower. If so I’d return the battery being it’s not that old.
Whats the voltage when running?
My favorite ettouffee is Donald Link’s, it calls for 1/3 cup fat for 2lbs tail meat.

Interested to see how Kung Lao made it into this one.
First gun I ever bought, also from Walmart for like 80 bucks. I have the stainless like this one.

There was a Tom strutting his arse off for a bunch of hens in the woods right off the side of the road this weekend. Was awesome.

Any recommendations on a can?

I have a Dead Air Mask, CAT Short Round and Ben. Of the 3, I like the Ben the most on my 10/22. The Short Round is my dedicated pistol can, and the Mask lives on my CZ 457 since it’s a bench shooter. All 3 are very close as far as sound suppression. The Short Round and Ben are substantially lighter since they are printed titanium. The Ben is much shorter than the other two.

Mine is light as a feather and a tack driver. Would love to compare the weight with one of the new carbon fiber ones. My upgrades included:

Tactical Solutions X-Ring barrel
Hogue Overmolded stock
Power Customs hammer and sear package
Volquartsen automatic bolt release
Buffer, don’t remember what brand but either Volquartsen or Lee
Game Reaper mount with Leupold VX Rimfire
