Yep, I got two cases of the Underwood ammo and a Wilson set. Bit of a bummer that the lower is a blem though, and is the only blem item I’ve ever bought that I could easily find the blem on. I’ll just cerakote it if I ever decide on a build for it.

With all that I started to wonder if she was going to have some sort of immortality (may still) since she was so active.

It could be something like the oldest living Warren cannot die by normal means. Like how Richard Warren was still alive when they dug him up. Maybe with him dying by crossing the buoy, that immortality goes to Ruth. It certainly seems like she survived the gun shot.

So what is behind the doors that killed that guy?

The demon or whatever that inhabits the island, that Warren made the original pact of sacrifice with.

I don’t understand why the black cop shot Ruth? It’s an 85-year-old woman. Couldn’t he have just walked up to the situation and talk to her to get more information.

He knows their plan of ending the pact by killing Warren’s lineage. He thinks she’s the last as well based on the family tree. He kills her to save his unborn child, who will be entering the world at any moment.

quote:

So he shot her at the same time the guy went in the dungeon, right? That’s why he thinks it’s over because he shot her?

Yes. I mean to go back and watch the episode when the bell tolls. It only makes sense if the bell only tolled once.

The wife watched it earlier, insane story.

Had a couple March- April that both took two weeks. My most recent got approved this week, took 3 weeks. 8 weeks on a Form 4 seems extensive, especially if you did individual. Those seem to be only a few days based on what I’ve read.

It's officially UFC White House week!

Pretty bummed when I noticed it’s Sunday night and not Saturday per usual.

I looked at the Timney shoes too. From what I've seen, people have had problems with the Timney and how adjustable it is. Mainly having to constantly readjust the trigger safety screw as it'll back out enough that the safety is no longer engaging. Not sure if its common enough to worry about, but its a concern.

After recording how many turns the screw is set at, I reinstalled it with a dab of blue loctite (was recommended somewhere, whether an instructional video or the included paperwork itself). No issues after several hundred rounds so far. I understand your concern though.
Never tried the Johnny Glock one, but I love this one.

ETA: reviews seem to praise the internal hinged version, but I went with the external blade. Just a preference.

I know nothing of neither Atkins nor Joyner, any insight on pros and cons of each?

Yes. Ive got three main AR platform guns that I’d like to swap around on.

My recommendations will both be CAT cans as well, because I own several and love them. I’ll preface this by saying Gen 1 CAT cans have two versions; the “civilian” version and the “military/duty” version, which is the Alleycat line. They are pretty easy to find currently, so I will recommend them over their civilian version, as they are a little better in performance due to some slight extra length (they say an extra baffle).

If sound suppression is the priority, look into an Alleycat 308. Since you are mainly predator hunting and off a tripod, the negatives of this one kind of get nullified (it’s longer and a little gassier, although still not too bad). The civilian version is the JL (Johnny Law). It does very well on 556/223 despite being a 30 cal can. It’s mainly intended for bolt guns, which is why it lacks the gas management of the next can. But if you’re shooting yotes mainly I don’t see how it’d be an issue. It will definitely be the quietest of the two.

Next would be the Alleycat 762. It is designed for gas guns, so it is better in that regard. It is shorter and therefore lighter. It also performs very well on 556/223. It’s civilian version is the ODB (Ol Dirty Bastard).

Hopefully other folks will have experience with some other options to chime in with, but these are the ones I can speak on.

Are you wanting something that can be used for all 3?

If you could only get one lever, would it be 357 or 44?

Some of the most fun shooting you can have is suppressed 38spl through the 357 chambered one.

So is this list in effect now/immediately?

Since the new OEM Glock mags are metal, do you think I can simply leave the Shield mag release and not worry about changing it?

There’s a video on youtube of a guy trying, and he confirms the Shield mag release is NOT compatible.
ETA: nvm I see it was posted previously

Yep, this and the chargers for the probes were my only complaints. They have since remedied both. I posted about it last week or so, but if you haven’t seen it they have an AC charging station now for the probes.
