It will tie in. A lot.

Disney/Marvel needs this movie to succeed badly! and I'm guessing it will bc they don't have the typical Disney/Marvel wokies in the mix.

I am not sure. I dont think Jacknan is on board for a million more Wolverine appearances and there is a 0% chance they reboot Xmen without some Wolverine.

The last one had a Green Lantern tie in, so anything is possible at this point

Would they want to associate themselves with it now?

Disney owns it. Why wouldn't they have it in the MCU?

It will tie-in more now than ever before.

It will also obviously tie-in more with X-Men movies as well.

TVA Agents are prominently in the trailers, as is a large, dead Ant Man.

I'm happy Hue Jackson found work after his terrible Cleveland Browns tenure.

This is supposedly THE MCU movie. It will be used to do a soft reboot. The idea is that after this movie, you won't have to go back and watch 20-something TV series and movies to understand anything.

You could just watch the movie in 4-5 weeks and find out for yourself.

He's going to travel around the multiverse. This movie is tying in all the old xmen/other movies that disney now owns.

You can see the old Juggernaut in the trailer.
You can see Antmans helmet and skull.

Why would they do this in a Rated R movie?

actually, it does make sense.

Adults watch R rated movies. Adults, like the people who grew up with the X-Men movies, the X-Men First Class movies, Spider-man and most of the early MCU. If you were a young teen for any of them, you're now an adult.

If you're a current teen, you probably don't care much about the old X-Men stuff, or the older Spider-man, etc. You may not even remember the Fantastic Four movies (some awful, but the first couple were ok at the time). You just want action, and a random reboot won't bug them that much.

Comics have had the multiverse thing going awhile, DC used to use it to keep the old stuff (JSA etc) going, while simultaneously having current (JLA) etc.

I'm curious how deep they will go. You get X-Men, and they've also already tied in the Spiderverse. Will they go with the Ghost Rider and Fantastic Four stuff too?

I really don’t care. I know it’ll be a great standalone because I know Ryan Reynolds would not do this wrong. I really fricking hope it’s not MCU heavy but I feel like whatever it is, it’s going to work and be solid.

Bc that was one of the deals Ryan Reynolds made with them I believe. Deadpool is a dirtier character.
