Assuming Stallone is involved. Prove me wrong.

He’s too old, maybe as a mentor

In today’s world the equivalent to Over the Top would be Across the Middle and be based on Power Slap. Starring Roman Reigns with The Big Show as the antagonist and Ric Flair as the old teacher of the proper slap who helps Roman gain his confidence.

Would need Bull Hurley to make an appearance. Damn I almost forgot his one liners in this movie literally set the tone for most of our lingo in high school.

Cobra is probably the best movie of all time

It’s like Kramer vs Kramer, but with arm wrestling!

He hated that movie
I don't know why. I watched it a couple years ago and made a thread about it, and it still holds up really well for what it is. It's just a fun, cool movie.
Cobra, on the other hand, sort of sucks now. I don't know why I loved it so much back in the day, but I watched it around the same time and it just doesn't hold up at all anymore. It's borderline shite.

An Over the Top sequel "designed for modern audiences" would NOT make money
This is the reality though

Shut up and take my money.
Sadly, Terry Funk isn't around to reprise his role from Over the Top.
