These are the ones off the top of my head I could remember: - He was knowledgeable about a ridiculous amount of knights and families (knowing that the one kings guard came from an uber wealthy crabbing family) and how tournaments work. - Egg said he was from King’s Landing, Dunk just assumed it was flea bottom. - He called the Lords “lapdogs” to Duncan, so he obviously knows his social hierarchy. - He tucked tail and ran anytime another Targ showed up (getting off Dunk’s shoulders during the first night of the tourney, telling Dunk he wanted to go back to their camp when he saw them riding across the bridge) because he didn’t want to get caught. - Not giving a shite that Dunk tossed him a coin in episode 1 because obviously he’s rich.
Also him flipping out about the fortune teller’s prophecy and all the references to Maekar’s sons being missing.

I’ve really enjoyed this so far. End of this episode was great.
Seeing big Dunc and little Egg unleash some of the very different types of raw, latent power they both possess was awesome. Those two have a great dynamic.
Can’t wait to see more of big Dunk rippin’ and a tearin’.

I just watched episode 3 again and a question I had was why would egg go tell dunk to come save the girl, knowing that he would have his life ruined?
Couldn’t egg just have stepped up when he was breaking her fingers?

Maybe Egg knows his brother is a psychopath and would only stop if he’s physically forced to. He knew he could come to Dunk’s aid after the fact but if he told his brother to stop without dunk it might not have worked.

He is still a kid. And his older brother is an ahole.
Having access to a seven foot giant that can kick his brother’s arse is probably a 9 year old’s first reaction to the situation.
