So my CC wasn't working and missed half of the damn dialogue especially when that damn Fassoway squire was talking about aliens. Damn English! You invented the language dammit.

kind of makes you wonder about other characters who shave their heads, huh?

Loving the show. This has the fun adventure and pace The Hobbit should have been.

yep. I dont understand why some folks aren't enjoying it unless they just really wanted it to stick to their notion of what a game of thrones show has to be.

This isn't a dark epic, but it's still Westeros and it's still a good, fun story.

I’m glad it’s not just me having some trouble understanding some of the dialogue lol

Maybe Egg knows his brother is a psychopath and would only stop if he’s physically forced to. He knew he could come to Dunk’s aid after the fact but if he told his brother to stop without dunk it might not have worked.

This. Remember when his brother was competing against that knight whose horse he killed, when the competition started Egg could barely contain himself screaming "Kill him! Kill him!" In the book, it wasn't clear who Egg was exactly wanting to see killed, until the big reveal.

There isn't a British person alive that I don't have to CC it when they're on my TV.

Watch the first three episodes last night. It’s good stuff! Needs to pick up the pace as there are only 3 episodes left though.

what exactly did aerion do to the puppet gal? Did he cut off a finger or just break it? Gnarly either way especially considering she needs those fingers to make a living

I think he just snapped it. Looked like he was about to do worse though.

Sure. But it’s a scene that has already happened. It wasn’t a spoiler for TV watchers.

It’s implied that there’s no book discussion. Also its a spoiler for someone who might want to read the book. Not a big deal, just a fairly simple rule to follow.

It's a spoiler for someone who might want to read the book for a scene they just watched?

I don't know why you are still arguing. Its pretty simple. Don't mention any knowledge you obtained from the books whether its past or present. No one is trying to makes this a big shame thing, just say you didn't realize it was against the rules and move on. There is a Maesters thread for book talk. Come join us over there.

Dude you’ve been in this very thread answering questions non book readers have asked, including since the Maesters thread went up. You’ve phrased it in a way that makes it seem like you’re postulating an answer as if you don’t already know. Hypocrite.

these short episodes are irritating. I knew they wouldnt' get to the battle.

It was nice to hear that iconic theme at the end. Got me pumped up ready for battle.

I like the timing. We are getting all the details and still moving the story along nicely. This is what you get when you stick close to the source.

ETA: and if people aren’t aware, the episode is available already.
