WNBA nerds don't realize that they would lose to every decent Boys HS team in the USA

And they would get totally obliterated by the Top 30 percent of Boys HS Teams.
I tried to watch a few minutes of the Indiana game the other day and these broads literally missed 3 layups in a span of 2 minutes.
One of them was a break away layup without a defender within 10 feet.
It's cool that Clark is decent while she's playing against girls with the smaller WNBA ball, but if she was playing against men she wouldn't even get a shot off.
She wouldn't be able to dribble without having the ball stolen.
A couple of years ago a guy offered a "Million Dollar winner take all" game of the WNBA Champs vs a High School Boys Team of his choice.
The WNBA Champs wanted nothing to do with it

Rhonda Rousey would have a far better chance of beating up your average 200 pound in shape guy than the WNBA Champs would have of beating the Top HS Boys Team in the Country.
Her chances of an arm bar or ankle lock vs an average Joe with no training isn't really that far fetched.

Agreed. Everyone knows the WNBA isn't the NBA. Just like everyone knows no college team would beat a pro team. I'm not sure why there's such an obsession with taking a competitor from one competition and reminding everyone they wouldn't win in another competition. As long as the playing field in the competition is competitive who cares? They're not playing highschool boys teams. They're playing other WNBA teams.

Because there's a lot of posters still think it's 1955 and the concept of women sports triggers them unless of course it's attractive women playing then that's fine. If people want to actually discuss women's sports then obviously this is the board for it. But for every legitimate poster talking the WNBA or such you get about 5 more posters wanting to trash the sports or talk about how much they don't care

She didn't take on an old man. An old man took her on - and lost. Riggs started the whole thing and beat Margaret Court before King accepted an offer to play him. Look up the basic facts every now and then. King didn't claim she was better than current male players. She simply responded to an old man running his mouth.
