Why couldn’t tom Izzo ever get great players?

Incredibly consistent as a top contender and the threat of “March madness mode” but with a ceiling. They never have a team with good enough players to win the whole thing even years ago. I’d say his top players are mateen cleevs, freaking draymond, and mo Pete. Being an all time coach you’d think once in a while he could have some studs

Austin’s was pretty good for 2nd. This years version with cm punk is horrible. To have him win some matches he actually lost defeats the whole damn point

I hate ND and have been mocking them since they quit and all that jazz but after seeing the playoff I do think that we would have seen those two teams play at some point if not in the championship. I’m sure IU would have smoked them maybe but it would have been neat game IMO
