The ball size change alone would eliminate the women. The boys wouldn't even be needed

You’re right. 20-50 is too damn low, fool. Boys wouldn’t even need the 3pt line. Just dunk and paint points. Name their score.

There are varying levels of “state champs”
Public vs Private
Big vs small
Different leagues
I think the WNBA team would beat most state champions
I don’t think they would beat the champions of the highest level / largest school leagues
I also don’t think it’d be a blowout, WNBA players are better thank y’all give them credit for.
Also, good AAU teams would smoke the state champions so yes the AAU teams would probably beat the WNBA teams

Some state champs now are also versions of AAU teams.
Monteverde, IMG, Link, etc. all have players from all over the US. They’re not real high school teams.

Dunking is not the end all be all barometer for being good at basketball. I’ve seen plenty of high school teams with no one that can dunk smoke teams that have four guys dunking.
Like I said, I think the top level state champs would beat the WNBA teams and the WNBA teams would beat the lower level state champs. High school boys will definitely be more athletic, but the WNBA players are more experienced and probably more skilled
I don’t think it would be a huge blowout, except for maybe the top 10 or so state champs.
The best AAU teams would kill the WNBA teams

They also aren’t state champs in the High School Associations in the states they play in either. Most of those schools play a “national schedule” now and don’t compete for state titles because they don’t follow the Associations guidelines

1) those women on that team have probably been hooping against grown men their entire adult lives
2) look at the weight on some of those women. 225. 190. 195. That is high school weight
They’d have height, a little weight, reach, and athleticism on their side. The women would have EVERYTHING else, including WAY better 3 pt shooting.
Y’all are just plain wrong if you think 3-4 inches across the board wipes out the entire advantage + some of playing the best and most skilled women on the planet.
They’d also have the advantage on the sidelines with coaching.
You want to talk the next tier up? Maybe even a couple of the HS champs, CC etc. that’s a different story. An average high school champion? Nah. I’ll take the women.

A’ja Wilson is going to make a 15 footer more often than just about every single boys high school basketball player.
Vegas shot 84% from the FT line in the regular season and 89% in the playoffs. There are no high school teams doing that.
They obviously have athletic advantages, but I feel like people are thinking that the best WNBA team is the equivalent to the college women’s team that they scrimmaged against.

I would take every boys team
I would take the team that won the 14U AAU tourney I competed in 20+ years ago with TMac and VC

Conditioning will also be an element.
This thread has made me hope that some kind of game happens, and hope that the women blow the doors off of the boys.
I'm not some kind of feminist weirdo or whatever. There's just a whooole lot of "never left South Louisiana" Al Bundy energy in this thread.

I’m not either. I just think it’s preposterous as a huge basketball fan.
All the “I could beat up prime Ronda Rousey at 45 and 180 lbs” baws dusted off their keyboards for this bad boy.

They would have to play defense. If they just tried to run them, they’d get shot out of the building. No, women aren’t as athletic as men but you can’t tell me that these girls who have honed their craft for years aren’t as good at shooting as a bunch of 14-18 year olds.

I played pickup with Seimone Augustus years ago. she was the only woman on the court and she was very good, more than held her own. Latasha Dorsey used to play with us sometimes and she was really good against post college dudes
seimone and latasha probably played more pickup with men than they did with women. seimone had a baseline turn around jumpshot that was impossible to stop. we played with the men’s ball
I think there are some exaggerations here in this thread, 14U and 15U beating full grown professional women is pretty ridiculous. These women are experienced pros in peak condition with all of the skills and tricks of the trade. All of the little grabs and pushes and elbows and things the women do would even things a little. Slowing the game down and being methodical would also help the women.
now. we get into high level 16/17/18 year olds in a bigger school state champion program in a basketball state and it could get ugly quickly.
Thinking about a Scotlandville vs the Aces and I think the women could compete but would lose. Scotlandville is just too fast for the women to get back on defense. Every boys defensive rebound ignites a run out fast break.
So the WNBA coach would keep a guard up high all the time to get back on defense. This would cause the women to play four on five on offense and make it tough to score.

The Youtube algorithm has put the Monteverde highlights on my home page and after watching a few of the video highlights package, I am convinced the would trounce the Aces.
