I have a friend that used to play pick up games in college. He said they were asked to play against the women's team once a week in practice by the coach. These were slow unathletic white guys playing against Division 1 girls and they would run them off the court. I am sure a State Champion boys team would win handily.

Just like the U-14 boys team beat the women’s national soccer team

Those boys will beat the brakes off them and they know it.

I doubt this will ever happen cause it would hurt feelings

For some reason women’s tennis turns peoples brains to mush and they then think women are equivalent to college men

I'm being serious when I say they would not score a single basket against a team like IMG or Monteverde.

Those teams would pick their score. Those teams would beat some shitty college men's teams.

Outside of something like football, basketball is, in my opinion, the single greatest ability disparity between the sexes. The combined size/power/speed discrepancy is utterly insurmountable, no matter how skilled or talented the women might be. An elite high school team would beat the absolute brakes off of the best WNBA team. An elite junior high team would likely win comfortably, but it would be more interesting.

The top 15 5a schools from Louisiana would absolutely wreck them. The women’s team would struggle big time to get a single shot off

Cold winter weather States like Kansas and Indiana for just two examples, where basketball is a Religion like football in the South, no doubt at all.

WNBA All Stars would get crushed.

I've always heard that Pokey Chapman had a beer belly men's rec team at LSU play a Final Four team with Semoine Augustus for practice and beat them by 30.

We have a women's basketball defender in here downvoting everyone

That sport is an abomination, downvote away!

IDK about the state champs, but I remember the varsity basketball teams St. Paul's fielded when I was there, and the Atlanta Dream would absolutely smoke those teams. I would seriously bet my house on that. Spot the Wolves 20 points and I'm still in.

We're not talking about weightlifting here.

You all are underestimating the great fundamentals that a WNBA team has. Their discipline would keep the game close.

Also, the WNBA team's beauty would distract a boys high school team, and lead to victory for the women.

Was the varsity team at St. Pauls full of special needs guys or blind people?

Nobody cares. Let the women compete amongst themselves without trying to 1-up them all the time.

I don't care how fundamental my bounce pass and box out are, if I play Lebron James he's going to pick the score. It will feel like I'm wearing cinder blocks on my feet. A totally different level of existence.

That's the difference in good high school men and professional women in basketball.

I'm not going to downvote, but it just seems like a weird thing to think about.

I don't think just any HS state champion boys team would win. But I would say that if you took the worst All State team ( regardless of HS level) that they would beat wnba

Especially with a wk of practice
