Then that makes him a disrespectful piece of shite. Anyone with common sense can see he isn't worth a shite anymore.

Problem is, libs don't have common sense.

He is losing a QB competition to Blaine Gabbert, so I have to assume he is in roster trouble.

The media also tends to be lenient on coaches getting rid of outspoken players, and for all his faults Chip Kelly isn't really worried of what the media thinks of him.

Know who else hated race mixing?

Muhammad Ali.

Point is, the anthem is bigger than its author.

In a perfect world, nobody would have ever said a single word about him sitting during the anthem.

I'm sure the NFL has already told the remaining organizations and maybe even the Niners that they dont want to associate themselves with Kaep anymore and they are not to re-sign him after his inevitable release. That is worth way more than just a fine.

Same thing happened to Lael Collins at the draft last year.

While technically correct, a lack of a rule hasn't exactly stopped Goodell from dishing out punishments in the past

There is no earthly way the NFL is run by morons stupid enough to do this. That's collusion. Look up MLB history to see what happens when you collude to not sign players.... It's not good. It's highly illegal. Don't do it.

The NFL won't punish Kaep for the simple reason that he didn't violate any league rules. furthermore, punishing a player who is lawfully exercising his 1st Amendment free speech rights while NOT violating any terms of the CBA or his employment contract is a recipe for PR disaster, if not a prolonged lawsuit.

He's not bothering anybody. Let him sit. Whatever. It's not like he's playing or anything. It's a back up QB trying to get attention. If you're upset, the solution is to not give the attention to him.

Because we all know the NFL is a live-and-let-live kind of league.

"The solution is to not give attention to him"? Every sports tv & radio show in the country is making this a major talking point. "Not bothering anybody"? You must be as disconnected with the real world as are all the liberals out there lecturing to us on our rights. Any literate American knows about our rights & who has been defending them all these centuries. But on tv & radio, there is only one perspective, the liberal one. This is not generating debate, it is pissing people off. I am no fan of Trump's but this is why he is where he is today.

Kaepernick is growing his beard to look like the Muslim who kidnapped his great great great great great grandfather and forced him onto a slave ship all in the name of Alla. Islam is the religion of enslaving Africans 400 years ago.

Of course they won't but if he'd have made a similar stand against Transgender bathrooms he'd have been suspended for giving his opinion the country he just shite on gave him the platform, the right and the opportunity to give.

Actually, he had several kids with Veronica Porsche (mixed) and he himself was 3/16's white.

His early rhetoric was just Elijah Muhammad's message. He was just a parrot.
