Really? All I hear from people is what a busy or disappointment he is. People say he's a draft bust.

I guess you are just levelheaded. I've always been a Reggie Bush fan.

Tiger Woods - won 4 times before June this year and still gets criticized. That is a good career for an average tour player.

ROMO is the most overhyped athlete I have ever seen........... And YES he gets what he deserves........ If you put Manning[either one] or Brees, or Rogers, or Brady, That team maks the playoffs and WINS games..........
Not a Romo fan but this post is LOL funny.
So if you replace him with one of the top 4 QB's in the league, 3 of which are sure fire HoFers, and the other is well on his way, his team would be better... Yea, the dude deserves to be held to that standard...

the only thing with jeter, you could say is overrated is his defense.
he makes plays that ALL SS make, yet he takes 3 extra steps, falls back and throws, and some how it's a great play.
see Jim Edmonds, many of his highlight catches were because he hot dog'd it, and went for the big catch. And many times he'd make catch, take 2 stpes then jump into the wall, suddenly it was an ESPN play of day. It was nothign more than a routine fly out.
jeter might be one of the best playoff performers, in MLB, many of us have seen. guy was $$$$

Romo is blamed for the failures of the Cowboys to put together a decent offensive line or hire a reliable running back. The Cowboys have very real problems, but Romo is not one of them.
For all of the talk of Jeter, I'd say A-Rod. A-Rod has better playoff numbers than Jeter, but Jeter is Captain Clutch and A-Rod is a no-good choker. It's also no accident the Yankees stopped winning the title every year once Bernie Williams stopped being awesome. Jeter is simaltaneously the most over and under rated player in the game, depending on who is rating him. He's a slam dunk Hall of Famer, but he is a miserable defensive player who won multiple Gold Gloves who gets way too much credit for playoff performances which are nothing that special.

Brandon Jennings is a top PG in the league and has been the only reason the Bucks have made the playoffs twice the past 4 seasons.

A year ago I would have said Jim Thome was the most under appreciated athlete in pro ball.

Came to say Romo, not surprised by the hate.

How is the hate for tebow unjust? The dude sucks.
How many other backups are hated? Your post exemplifies the unjust hatred for Tebow.
Blame the media, not Tebow.
And yes, Romo is one of the most under appreciated sports figures as well - although his season last year was justifiably hated upon.

Might as well have just called this "most polarizing athletes in sports" based on the answers

Of the 8 stats you gave for Jeter, about 5 are due more to longevity than being a great player.
