Why do yall keep bringing up her age? She’s won multiple events this season. It’s not like she’s out there finishing last. She’s earned the spot.

Also there are likely a ton of sponsor $$ on the line that she has to start the race in order to be considered an Olympian and get bonuses. The same thing happened in women’s marathon with one of the US athletes. It’s their spot, they earned it, it’s theirs to give up.

I truly do not understand the hate this woman gets.
