Pretty solid IQ though for him to not touch the ball and box out given the situation, for what it’s worth

It was on par with Duke's attempts to inbound the ball.

Houston turned it over three drives in a row to end the game …

Ironically, it was as bad as the NC State possession vs. Houston in '83.

Honestly, if the Houston player just shoots the ball at the end, it might get tipped and Houston might get the loose ball and put it in to reverse history (at least tie it). Instead, he threw it into the ground.

When you combine it with the possession before it it's definitely one of the all time worst closes ever, which is hilarious considering what they did two days ago to finish the game.

Georgetowns Fred Brown passing the ball to James Worthy of North Carolina, mistaken him for a teammate

At least he didn't throw it to James Worthy.

I’m tempted to say something lame, but I’ll let it pass.

Go away.

I mean they drove the ball 70 yards in under a minute and messed up at the goal line. There are far worse possessions than that

Looked like shite but probably not worst of all time, moment got to em.

They lost the game when they could have gone up two possessions, brain fart steps out of bounds, Clayton gets the and 1 to tie it.
