I know this isn't a serious thread, but Alabama has been the only hurdle to a Saban level dynasty for us. Even years we shouldn't lose we find ways to.

All that said, that monkey just feels completely off our back with that arse whooping on Saturday.

My wife was in the top 3 at her gym and she took the Bucs on my advice. :banghead:

opinion means nothing obviously, but I don’t think a group of five should be in the playoffs at all. Sorry I think the group of five should go like the FCS route and just have a playoff like the FCS schools do and then the best power five groups get in.
I don't hate it as it gives the 5 seed a mini bye but it's also a game they have to risk injuries and game plan to avoid a complete embarrassment.

But two of them is stupid

It’s also the prime time game. So much for ratings
To make it even worse, it's also airing at the same time as the Bears/Packers AND it's on TNT

It will have horrible ratings. Probably won't crack the top 100 most watched games this year

"Precedent"

This isn't the Supreme Court. The committee has one year on record of picking a 12 team field. Who knows what they'll do
Didn't you guys get skull fricked by like a 3 win Oklahoma last year?
Didn't we go like 12-2 or something last year ?
Truly amazing we've had 2 coaches since 2001 and our current guy is on pace to be an all timer. These other schools must be exhausted

I can see him making the jump for the NFL if he’s successful here 100% but he ain’t jumping to Bama or Texas if he’s busy winning titles here. Why would he?
I mean sure but let's take a realistic scenario.

2026: 9-3 type year
2027: 10-2 in the playoffs

Meanwhile Sark and/or DeBoer continue to underwhelm and get let go mid-late 2027 season
Like say Alabama, Texas, or Michigan have a vacancy and come calling?

How did Bama lose to FSU

These bums probably won't make a bowl
I see that wikipedia refers to this game as "The Crumble After the Fumble"

Kudos to whoever came up with that.
It's amazing what losing to your rival 12 years in a row will do to a fanbase.
This is an all time bad defensive performance

Auburn - You lost by 10

Even hypothetically you score a TD there, you'd give us the ball on a kickoff instead of on our own half yard line. You'd still lose by 3.

Unless your team is so soft that a little close call completely broke your composure

Yeah, we need the medical professionals doing this. Just like the ones that gave us such great advice during Covid, right?

Trump literally said Covid would magically go away by Easter, considered injecting bleach as a solution, pandered ivermectin as a legitimate treatment, and greenlit Operation Warpspeed.

No I don't need him endorsing whatever idiot came up with Tylenol causing autism.
Trump is certainly the person I want to announce medical advice.
Reds own the tiebreaker too so Mets are not in control of their destiny.

Would be a colossal failure in Queens.

Recent success against rivals

Tennessee: 9 in a row, 14-2 last 16 years

Auburn; 8 in a row, 12-1 last 13

Florida: 7-1 last 8 years

GT: 7 in a row

It's great to see after growing up in the 90s and constantly losing to Florida and Tennessee. Truly something special
