Meh. Teams seeded 17-24 will just be there for show. Imagine having to win back-to-back road games in December against top 16 opponents just to make the quarterfinals!

Agreed. Should always be a power of 2 with no byes
8 seems to be the sweet spot where you would actually have some interesting matchups although I'd prefer it go back down to 4

Close to 100% of the fans are against it, so naturally it's going to happen anyway.
College football's regular season will become every bit as meaningless as college basketball's.
You know before the season starts about ~18 teams that will be in the field every single year.
Every top 10 matchup is completely pointless, winner gets a slightly better seed, oh la la.
