re: Why can't Georgia win a Playoff Game in the Modern Expanded Playoff?

Did you actually research this, or just saying things that validate your opinion?
What are you asking for here, some peer-reviewed source? It seems like common sense that if you play more games against high level competition, the injury attrition and physical wear and tear is going to increase. Kirby said as much after the SECCG when talking about the upcoming 9 game conference schedule.
That's great that Ole Miss had good injury luck this year. That's not the norm in the SEC and it certainly hasn't been the case for Georgia for however many years in a row. Ole Miss is also technically on their backup QB and had their running back with a gimped shoulder as well.

Our defense this season was just strange, I don't really know what to make of it. There were times, especially in the second half of the season, where they looked like a clear top 5 unit in the country. There were other times, like in the Sugar Bowl and in the first half of the season, where they looked like they've hardly practiced. The tackling the other night in the first half was abysmal.
I get there were youth and injury issues, but the range of play for this unit was very extreme. Hell, even in the first game against Ole Miss they went from getting pantsed for 3 straight quarters to completely dominating in the 4th. Similar thing happened against Tennessee. It's like they just flip a switch at times.

We did have some critical missing pieces in both losses. We lost our starting QB last year, and this year, we had our starting Center, and several key pieces on defense on the sidelines.
This is going to happen every year. When you play 14-16 games in a season and 9 of them are conference games, you're going to lose several important pieces by the end of the year, it's inevitable at this point.

Yeah, two games in a row where Ole Miss just roasted us alive. I guess there's just nothing that can be done, tip yer cap. 0 sacks and 3 TFLs. 20 points in the 4th quarter. :dunno:

This game and 2023 SEC Championship were some of the worst called high-stakes games I’ve ever seen.
ding ding ding thank you sir, been beating this drum for years. Still to this day don't understand how we lost that SECCG or why we ran it more than we passed it when our passing game was by far the strength of that team. Just bizarre decision making at times.

Gunner had 6 batted balls
What the frick was that? He looked like he was 5'6" back there in the pocket. I love the guy and he's tough as nails, but you gotta get him in motion if you want him to throw the ball, that was a mess tonight.

The defense was absolute dogshit tonight, all night long. Kirby and his staff got their asses handed to them by Pete Golding.
This is the most alarming thing to me tonight. I just don't understand how the defense got exposed this hard, especially in the second half. Maybe the injuries caught up to us, but damn.

Dynasty?
They were losing to Vandy regularly in recent memory. And not the good Vandy of late.

regularly
Georgia is 61-20 all time against Vandy with 6 losses in the last 60 years.

It's a great team. I'm trying to figure out how Trinidad Chambliss was a D2 guy for multiple years.
re: UGA wins with Carson Beck tonight

tCaw I love you bro, but Beck was not the right QB for this team. I hope he does great, though, no ill will. He is absolute money on short to intermediate reads.

You gotta win 3 titles in a relatively short amount of time to be a dynasty, right? I've never considered us such, not yet, anyway.
I like our chances going forward, though. We got beat by a better team and a great QB tonight.

I don't like Dame, but ND-Oregon and Vandy-Ole Miss should've been the matchups.
