re: Prediction: Saban steps down after 2018 - HickoryofOld
Yeah, and by 2021, Dabo’s contract will expire in 2026. Clemson will continue to extend and add money to it, as time passes. He may certainly go to Alabama, but your theory does not make sense. Contracts for coaches are almost always at least 4 years long at any time so as other coaches can’t us...

re: The son whom Rae Carruth tried to kill in order to avoid paying child support is now 18 - HickoryofOld
Sort of wish the grandmother was acting like she forgave Carruth only to get in front of him when he gets out and gutting him from his brains to his testicles. But for a woman to sacrifice what she has over the last 18 years, I imagine she actually is able to forgive that POS....

re: Wtf are cloth diapers and are they cheaper in the long run? - HickoryofOld
And you’ll also likely have to replace some of your own clothes due to the higher rate of blowouts/pee throughs that occur compared to disposable diapers. Yeah, mistakes happen with both but it’s at an extremely higher rate early on when you’re still learning how to put the cloth diapers on....

re: Trashy Panthers fan sucker punches old Eagles (maybe Panthers) fan - HickoryofOld
That is easily one of the more solid punches/connections I've seen thrown from random videos online. Dude got rocked, and I'm guessing he's going to have some medical issues. I feel sorry for the old guy. He probably should have involved security beforehand, but with that said, he doesn't deserve...

re: Real estate transaction - HickoryofOld
I'm not the expert on that particular question, but as I understand it, IRS looks at voter registration, car registrations, bills, etc. to determine what's considered the primary. I'm unsure how much leniency they give, but I'd imagine not much. ...

re: Blacksburg/Wytheville VA - HickoryofOld
It's been a while since I was in that area, but we've enjoyed Cabo Fish Taco on multiple occasions. It's a great restaurant. There are wineries around Blacksburg but the best are to the north up 81 around Charlottesville and north. Definitely worth a ride up if you like wine....

Read his criteria, it's based on current public perception so no doubt Clemson is an elite program. Sorry UT isn't getting respect for all those national championships pre-1960....

re: ESPN Fires Sara Walsh the Day She Returns From Maternity Leave - HickoryofOld
Non-competes were waived and ESPN hopes they find new jobs as I understand it. I don't quite know why buyouts weren't offered as that's a pretty standard practice in media. It may have something to do with the amount of people involved and the quality of talent in many cases that will easily find wo...

re: ESPN Fires Sara Walsh the Day She Returns From Maternity Leave - HickoryofOld
Yes, they are still employees of ESPN, but not allowed to work. That means ESPN is meeting the requirements of each contract by maintaining all benefits until the end of the contract. It's odd, but as someone else said Disney wanted blood, as in ESPN is addressing the downturn in profit....

re: ESPN Fires Sara Walsh the Day She Returns From Maternity Leave - HickoryofOld
ESPN is paying everyone through the length of their contract not to work. They're free to find another job and if they do, then the contract with ESPN is voided and they stop paying. It's weird that's how ESPN chose to handle the lay offs, but in this case, as long as her contract isn't ending very ...
