Those schools just want to be able to call their conference a former power 5
They need to get the best teams from WAC and Mtn West otherwise that arrangement benefits no one.
They need to add Boise St for football and Gonzaga for basketball and San Diego St

Gross but rumors of SDSU and Boise coming in 2025 make it a bit better. Whatever, ill go and support my team regardless but all of this sucks. If this is true i hope we did our due diligence and arent "quitting a job before we have the next one lined up"

The PAC 4 has incompetent leadership. I don't see why any school currently outside of it would wish to join. The battered corpse of that conference needs to be buried and the remaining 4 schools need to join another conference, go independent or drop down to the FCS.

Nah. Bring SMU, Tulane, and Rice to the SEC and pod them w/Vandy.
Then have the SMU AD say he doesn't see the value in playing TCU anymore b/c they are in the lowly Big 12.
