Any idea what kind of offense Les is installing?

He relied on the old school power run game at LSU because we were bigger, stronger, and faster than most of our competitors.

But that isn't the case at Kansas. Will he go back to more open offense like he had at OSU (Gundy was OC though)?

Give him a couple of years to recruit.

2 is likely.

A buddy and I both went to LSU and moved to Denver this past November. We will be tailgating at least two games in full LSU garb.

Les will always have a soft spot in my heart, dude was awesome and a goofball, he just refused to update the offense.

Assuming he's running the same, power run offense that he did at LSU, especially having Pookah:

Kansas - 41 Indiana State - 14
Kansas - 52 Coastal Carolina - 10
Kansas - 24 Boston College - 20
Kansas - 31 West Virginia - 27
Kansas - 20 TCU - 34
Kansas - 13 Oklahoma - 49
Kansas - 23 Texas - 38
Kansas - 21 Texas Tech - 49
Kansas - 20 Kansas State - 31
Kansas - 17 Oklahoma State - 43
Kansas - 10 Iowa State - 28
Kansas - 31 Baylor - 52

3-9, only conference win vs. Baylor

Not going to happen. By the last game of the year Pooka will be in a wheel chair; Les will kill him since they have nothing else on offense. They may lose the 1st game since Pooka is suspended for it.

4-0 start only to lose every other game would be quite the narrative.

Just winning 4 games will be an improvement for them. They are complete trash and it's going to take several years for him to fix that mess.

Thank you. People don't realize how bad Kansas football is. They think KU is a typical decent-to-struggling program in Power 5 conference, like Colorado or Indiana. No, they're HISTORICALLY bad. Until this past season they didn't win a road game for a decade.

They're a Big South/MAC level team stuck playing a Power 5 conference schedule. They will be lucky to win only their non-conference games this season.

I don't know about this year, but with the right coach, Kansas could sit 3rd in that league for a while. It's a two horse league (like the ACC). Heck, Kansas State did it and at the time they had one of the worst football programs in the history of college football. Kansas is much stronger institutionally.

4-8

2-1 non-conferemce, a rivalry upset over K State, and a shock win over either Texas or Okie State (there is a bye before those two games). He is Les Miles, he will find success (and luck) somewhere along the way.

7-6 in year two, just to stir up shite on the rant.

3-9. I think they improve greatly under Les, but not this year. In years 2 and 3 I expect to see more.

3-9. If he gets over that he's done a hell of a job.

I think he can get them to bowl status the next year. He doesn't need the best recruits, he just needs the guys not signing with Texas, OU, LSU, Bama. He has the skins and the ridiculous number of players in the NFL to help recruit.
