Justin Blackman is not only in the conversation for biggest bust in the NFL but also most busts in the NFL.

Yes. It’s amazing how in college he was featured as a great guy about helping a little girl and then got to the NFL and started doing shite like he did......

Didn’t he have substance abuse issues in Stillwater?

You can be a good person and an alcoholic and I remember that being his issue. The drinking and driving.

Once he got sober and off steroids, the Colts moved him to guard and he had 3 or 4 solid seasons with them

Jonathan Sullivan was the 6th pick in the 2003 draft by the Saints and was out of the league within 3 years.

One of the top 10 WR drafted by the Lions before they drafted Megatron.

ETA: Also see a few people mentioning Clarett. He was the last pick of the 3rd round. Now, I know 3rd round picks are expected to a least play a snap in the league but with the contract he signed he basically cost Denver nothing but the draft pick.

Unlike some of the other players mentioned, he did have the talent to be a good player. Too many addiction issues for him though.

Speaking of talented receivers that wasted their careers, has there ever been a talent as wasted as Josh Gordon? He put up 1600+ yards with absolute trash QBs and despite missing 2 games.

One of the absolute worst picks in NFL history. In those three seasons a total of 42 tackles and 0 career sacks.

Emtman is a good choice as biggest bust. You are right that Mandarich made a comeback with the Colts and played for about 4-5 years.

I mean Fisher is a 2X Pro-Bowl player. I've seen tons of guys who are in this thread who have never done anything

Luke Joeckel was the other lineman battling Fisher for number overall, of course for the Jags, he was the big bust.
