Duke paying 4 up to 10 mill for a QB is insane.

If they don't make the playoffs they should have just lit 4 mil on fire instead

This type of money spent will inevitably take power from the head coach.., no way if a small group of people basically handling your recruiting by paying for it… they nit going want some say so over the program to a extent… I know it been that way it some schools for years but it’s about to get worse

Still remember MSB tards saying shite like “maybe the top couple of QBs in the country will make half a million”

Bro the results there after have little to do with what’s happening on the field.

Stetson would have cleaned up $40M+ in his 8 years of college if NIL was around when he started, in todays market.

I’d argue we’re still in a bubble yet to burst. That’s an insane amount of money to be dishing out when half of those teams’ seasons will be ending in November Boosters won’t go broke, but there’s no way they’re keeping up this pace of giving indefinitely after enough seasons with no results. And corporate sponsors can’t all be finding these investments worth it

$2M is 10% of the revenue share. That seems about right for a high level qb. Not all of those teams will get into January, but you’re paying for the chance. And making it is worth 10s of millions

They’ve really opened Pandora’s box haven’t they?

Has anyone even considered the absolute hornet’s nest that’s been created in every locker room and huddle?

It’s the 4th Q and everyone’s been busting their arse all-night long and Mr. $2.5M a season has been dogshit. He’s making more in 1 dogshit performance than I’m making in my entire career upfront. You think I’m blowing out an ankle, knee, or shoulder for this douche? You’re insane. Now add all the other egos and players with their agents/family in their ears as well.

Wait until they change the game completely and start eliminating the hits delivered on the QB position like they have in the NFL, under the guise of safety, but truthfully they’re protecting that NIL investment $$$.

Notre Dame with some absolute steals in Carr or Minchey because both are better than most of the guys on that list.

I’m waiting for one of the players entourage to rob another star player and/or worse due to jealousy and disputes in the locker room. It’s just a matter of time. I think Baylor had something go down similar to this but it’s going to be happening a lot more I’d imagine. Just a powder keg for sure. Maybe a lineman gets shite talked by the star QB and lets a defensive end get right by him Varsity Blues style.

Absolutely, completely destroys team dynamics, but it’s all about that bag, right?

I’d say Pavia has likely earned a decent deal. Dude wasn’t really known at all and busted his arse to get recognized. Seems like he maximized his value and marketability. He’s definitely more valuable to a school like vandy than one of the big players in CFB.

Remember when lsupride claimed he brokered nil deals in a state where you had to register to broker nil deals?
