You mean after seeing us struggle to stop the run all year, and giving up 150 on a game that neither QB could throw bc of wind, you were surprised. This is why people that don’t keep up with other teams all year should keep their bad takes to themselves. Lmao.

Our problem was stopping the run. Robinson and Price were good at that. Our lack of speed at LB is what is really holding this defense back. Scooby going down hurt.

A game manger is to get us into 3rd and short. Klein is the one pushing to go deep on short yardage. Hopefully we improve next year. People forget Klein us a good OC, but he’s had questionable games our skilled playmakers got him out of.

How? Just bc of Cash? Cash flashed last year. Robinson has put like 10 guys in the league, led the conference in sacks and TOL many years. He left bc he wanted to be a DC, and got his chance. Plus, Terry has passed away.
Both Spencer and Robinson are good coaches. Both elite imo. When LSU fans have to explain our own coaches to us, they are full of shite. Heard Spence is moving to Virginia Tech. And Jordan Peterson might be the DC at Kansas State. We will have one more spot to fill in on defense if Jordan does get the job.
I don’t blame Reed. The Ags blame Reed are just going along with the LSU horn trolls.
The OC calls are predictable. A game manager would have been worse bc we couldn’t run, and the WRs weren’t getting separation. Mainly bc the OL couldn’t protect Reed. The wind made both QBs struggle. Beck was really bad too, their running game won the game.
Our other QBs are game managers, and when they got live reps against a G5, they couldn’t move the ball. Plus, OP admitted he hasn’t seen us play all year so he’s drawing conclusions. Next year, Reed should improve as a passer. And we need big red zone targets. Our WR core was all under 6 foot.

Without Reeds legs, we wouldn’t have moved the ball. Kind of short sighted assessment based on one game.
I remember the commentators saying that OU wasn't attacking downfield, so the Bama safeties were just playing down with no fear. I’m surprised that Burks and Satenga weren’t stretching the field. But Mateer was sidearming most his throws, and throwing short or boundary passes.
