Almost everyone I know who has torn a pec (its a bunch) all did it with flat barbell bench. I quit doing them a longtime ago. Just not worth it especially if going heavy
I can relate to this with first hand experience. Tore pec and partial bicep tendon on a flat barbell bench with I think 275# on there. Did my first set and was fine, so like a young and dumb 20 year old, went up 20 pounds and coming down for third rep I heard it and certainly felt it. Luckily I was smart enough to have my buddy spotting me. Never had the same strength and stopped barbell flat bench from that day forward. Can’t believe it’s already been 20 years since I did it.

He’d be insane to entertain leaving Bama I just don’t see it.
Outside of the pressure of following Saban, which was going to be impossible for whoever they hired, it’s a great job honestly and I think he’d be crazy to go to basically a lateral move I would think. Bama football has plenty of money and are still recruiting at an elite level. Who knows though, it really comes down to the individual and what they think is best for them.
The season is starting a week later due to Labor Day being the latest it can possibly be I believe. Last year September 1 was Labor Day and the earliest it can fall so there was an extra week essentially.

Could you explain this to me like I'm Kalen Deboer
Made me laugh pretty loudly. Have an upvote.

And he throws a 70-yard pick 6.
That was a goofy play. Just threw another pick on a tipped ball too. 2 consecutive plays.

When IU stopped the bucks on that 3rd and goal in the 4th and every aspect of that play was covered and defended perfectly at every level. They are never going to be outcoached and their defense is salty as shite. They have a real chance to win the whole damn thing.
About 20% of the world’s population is considered white. These people act like being of color is some unique achievement that only few can relate to when the opposite is true.
Lamar Jackson looks about the same (maybe worse) and that’s against the Bengals defense. You make a lot of emotional points[/quote]
Something is off with Lamar this year. He has to be hurt and is playing through it. He just doesn’t look as elusive or explosive running at all.

Actually pretty impressed with the thought and honesty TM has with this whole thing. The game has changed. Matthieu is incredibly loyal to LSU even after being dismissed. That mentality doesn’t apply for many players these days. Regardless, the dude bleeds LSU and is an incredible ambassador for the program. I would love to see him have some sort of position here before long and work his way into coaching. Great motivator.

I’m gonna say it has more to do with being a carpetbagging sawed off a-hole that sucks at coaching football than LSU’s conduct.
I agree he’s viewed as a jerk and people don’t like him. I still find it hard to believe he’s not or wasn’t a good coach not too long ago. He just seemed to phone it in after the ole miss game relying way too much on his assistants who, along with himself, failed miserably at identifying and developing o line talent and it finally bit him in the arse when he didn’t have a unicorn at QB with 2 insanely talented WRs hiding its flaws.
Ole miss hosting bama as a 7 is dumb AF for going 11-1 when their schedule is at least comparable to Oregon who lost by double digits at home while the rebs lost by 7 AT Georgia. TT is getting way too favorable treatment without really playing anyone.

Looked fun. But did they close the Rec Center?
I thought the same thing watching. Not one of those guys was remotely muscular at all.
re: Is Cam Jordan a hall of famer?

In his prime he never came off the field. Dude could rush the passer and was excellent against the run. I think he’s probably HOF worthy. Durable as hell too. His consecutive starts was killed by fricking covid with zero symptoms but mandatory testing at the time.
The 4th and goal play call was very bad. Stop putting Taysom in for predictable downs. Just keep him in the game.
In what world is it controversial to interview the damn president on Veterans Day?!! If a dem was in office, he likely would’ve interviewed them as well. Just don’t fricking watch it if you don’t like the guest.

But but Matt Moscona says LSU has dirt on BK for 3 different instances...2 personal and 1 professional.
Literally just listened to this and that’s not close to the context he wss implying. He said if LSU were to attempt ‘for cause’ firing, from what he’s heard in conversations, there were 3 instances that had the most traction, yet he didn’t really believe any of them likely hold enough water to win.

I think they interpreted the rule incorrectly. There’s zero reason that should’ve been a panthers first down. We never possessed the ball.
X rays wont show ligament damage though. Hopefully hes not out for very long

SLU- God, please no. Which means this is probably the call And I'm now hearing the LSU president might be dude from McNeese? WTF, we're about to implode.
About to have a southland conference athletic department. What a time to be alive.

If it’s determined that Kiffen is the guy and they know they can get him, you absolutely wait for him to finish the season. If they truly believe he’s the can’t miss option, it’s worth the potential first season setback for future success. Gonna be interesting to see it all play out.
Really good fit getting drafted by Payton. That’s such a huge part of a QBs potential success. Some of these guys who are great athletes in college, end up in really bad pro franchises and it torpedoes their careers before they can really get their feet wet. Nix was highly rated coming into college and Dan Lanning maximized his potential when Auburn couldn’t.
