I hope this is true, other than trolling falcon fans, having the Cowboys implode before week 1 after they have bloated their head with unrealistic expectations is one of the most fulfilling

I hate to come in here and be that guy, but I sincerely doubt Dak turned down 30m/year. What he probably turned down was some language in the contract, or maybe there wasnt enough guaranteed.

Prescott has been a starting QB for 3 years in a league where the average salary for a starting QB is over 20M. He has made around 2M in those 3 years. In my mind, Dallas already owes him over a ton in back pay. So if they end up giving him something like 4Y/120M, that less than 20M for a total of 7 seasons (4 + the 3 he has already played). I think that is fair..

You know what’s funny is it’s mostly Saints fans shutting on Dak, yet he has played significantly better in his first 3 seasons than Drew Brees did.
