folks that have moved out of their team's market do this all the time. I guarantee you they spend 3-5x what Sunday Ticket costs in drinks and food at a bar throughout the season

So I’ll have to pay more and switch between the YouTube app and DIRECTV in order to swap from Sunday Ticket games to local market games, which is less efficient than just changing channels was.

Feels like Sunday ticket is becoming more for hardcore gamblers than hardcore football fans.

I don’t think anybody feels the need to drop money like THAT to watch random mid season 12:00 games over what the network gives you… the networks are already giving you the best games of the weekend and that’s good enough

If you’re out of market and want to watch a certain team, you should just deal with it until the playoffs when all games are national anyway

Now baseball and basketball are different because there’s a lot more games

I can attest to this. I used to go to the the bar right across the street from my place to watch. And it was an easy $30 down the drain every time. At least. Food, drinks, tip, and tax add up quick.

I agree with another poster in requesting that the NFL just air all the games on some sub channels, like TBS and TNT.

Further, I request that start times are better staggered, so that the average fan can watch multiple games finishing up, or at least watch another game, whilst other games are at halftime, etc.

Easily in at $249.

And honestly just $100 more if you don't have YTTV is pretty solid too.

I’ll stick with redzone for $10/month

I’ll stick with a phone (phone is easier to navigate) or other ways to watch a game we really want to watch, especially for college football or the NFL. We cut the cord from Directv 7 months ago, and it hasn’t been that hard to find what we were looking for.

MLB blackouts are a problem.

MLB.TV + VPN solves this problem with no issues. I’ve been doing this for years being in market for Braves and Bally’s not being on YouTubeTV.

Looks like I’m going to be sticking with Redzone. I can’t justify that price, especially with all the games being played in 2 windows.

Is this NFL Sunday Ticket price increase part of the CPI number? That’s around a 30% increase…lol

This has been my plan for a few years. Luckily the Saints have done me a solid and sucked since Brees and Payton left so I have needed a sports bar.

I feel like there are better ways to spend a Sunday afternoon. And cheaper.

No they aren't. It's based on your zip code. I get every Saints and Titans game every Sunday based on where I live. So 2 out of the 3 games on broadcast TV in my market are teams I have no desire to watch.

If KC vs Buffalo for a playoff spot is on the same network and time as the Saints or Titans. I'm getting the Saints or Titans.
