Capitol BR and Collegiate BR have zero business even fielding a team. Capitol isn't the same type of school or have the same enrollment as its glory years. And Tara has averaged about 2 wins per season for about 20 years and has gone through probably 7-9 coaches.

The 90’s Live Oak team had a nice streak 29 I think?

EJ won a state championship 13 years ago. Beat Karr to do it.

White Castle used to be a solid team from what I remember in the early 2010s

when i was a sophomore in high school at benton[north of bossier city] i was really clashing with the head coach and wanted to play more than I was ,so I went to a plain dealing academy practice one evening ,they had an evening practice during the summer and I wanted to check it out to see if I wanted to transfer, it was the absolute worst thing id ever seen. Kids cussing out the coach . quarterback couldnt pass. they were like ,you will play qb ,saftey, return punts and kicks . I was thinking, no im good. lol

They probably shouldn't.
I believe last year they only had like 20 players.

A little bit shocked by this one.

New Iberia on the list is crazy but I guess Westgate gets all the good players.

I wonder when Indiana will schedule these teams.

Bolton's 25-26 varsity team pic only has 17 players and 4 coaches. They only had 2 home games last season.

That Bolton streak is going to go on for quite a while longer.
Saw them last year and it was alarming. Honestly, the only thing that may save them from a record breaking type streak is that I’m not sure they’ll field a team much longer

any decent public school player in Baton Rouge will end up at Southern Lab, Dunham, UHigh, Madison Prep, Catholic, etc after middle school

Their official LHSAA enrollment was 81.
That is ~40 males. If 50% play, that is the 20. Probably only half of those are big and/or athletic enough to compete. About 10 players that can compete - not even a full offense or defense.
Then for practice - if there are no injured players - you might have enough for 11 vs 11. Almost impossible task to make that team competitive.
The next smallest enrollment in non-select schools is Gueydan with 123. The next smallest in their district is Ringgold with 152.

A couple of schools on this list have state championships this century or at least played for one.

Bolton really isn't a high school anymore, honestly. Its a K-12 academy now that has all but eliminated competitive sports.

They've always had good athletes (at least they did when I was in school), but just can't ever get it all together.
