New Iberia on the list is crazy but I guess Westgate gets all the good players.
So it’s a matter of transferring Revenue Sharing responsibility, not the actual cash.

I negotiate every day. You think they are going to negotiate this down after OM filing suit and making public comments. They’ve turned it into a matter if principal now

While I won’t predict what Ole Miss does here, I will say regardless of what is filed and publicly stated, settlements happen frequently. The public comments serve a different purpose than the actual legal actions.
quote:

Are you saying this is some sort of smart as a fox play by LSU? The only people that think this are LSU fans. This is beyond moronic for LSU

Nothing sly about this. We have entered a new realm of college football. What law/case law/precedent exists related to a college player and his former school in regards to an NIL/revenue sharing deal?

I firmly believe both schools knew this is where it would end up. They’re just playing it out to:
1. Negotiate a possible settlement
2. Set some sort of precedent
3. Determine enforceability of athlete contracts
4. Set the framework for transfer rules
quote:

If they were going to pay it all along then why play a game of chicken and force OM to file suit?

Read that again. Ole Miss sued two former players. The entire saga is a pissing match.
Meh. Players signed agreements between the Georgia and Miami games. Could claim some level of ignorance to the extent of the deal. I would love to see the language and how clearly it’s written regarding the buyouts and penalties.

I wonder what the end game is. Are both sides posturing for a settlement and mutual termination? If it’s a matter of freeing up revenue share for Ole Miss (and transferring that responsibility to LSU), should be easy to get to.
Southwest absolutely sucks now. Prices skyrocketed. Older planes. No more free bags. Not worth it.

I get free bags on the other airlines with credit cards.

I would encourage every American to tune in tonight to the President’s speech. This may be the most important Oval Office address since the Cuban Missile Crisis.

It’s ok to admit your model is flawed.

I don't watch gay shite bc soccer is gay but how many of the 105 mins was he actually running, 20??? Trying to defend him like he ran for 105 minutes is gay just like soccer

He averages around 7 miles of running per contest.

Passive and scared the whole fricking night

This. The anti-miracle on ice team. Belgium dominated a match earlier this year and the team carried it to tonight.

re: Refs.... WORST game I've seen

Ref is pretty consistent. The team…not so much.
Kane sounds like Zack Morris trying to sing after drinking lemon juice.
 An English fan wearing a sombrero.
He was “threatening” the referee…looking up 6 inches at him and pointing.
Haaland is kinda mythical. The look. The height. The power.
