WWE is gonna get saved by you tubers with all of their kid followings

That was pretty impressive. Those were moves that looked like a trained professional.
Logan is an elite athlete. I don't think that can be disputed.

Yes wrestling is obviously staged and fake but that doesn’t mean some of the shite those guys pull off isn’t impressive. I’ve seen some clips from his match and being able to pull off those flips and shite is impressive as hell.
I mean the fact that a career NFL punter is doing the same things makes it a little less impressive for other "athletes" & a little more impressive for Pat McAfee (& I'm a fan of his). Let's not act like they're doing incredible athletic things that no one else could do if they did a little bit of training for it.

I don't watch wrestling, never have, but I'm assuming the linked video is the one that's making rounds on TikTok. Staged or not, some of the shite he did in that video is pretty impressive.

Really wasn't expecting the moonsault.

That doesn’t mean he cannot be good at it and a very talented athlete. Look at the NFL as an example of staged sporting events that require remarkable skill and talent.

Why do people always say “well it’s fake”
Like no shite it’s fake
Like no shite it’s fake

I used to watch wrestling growing up and haven't in 20 years, but damn, that is impressive.
The kid may be annoying but he's a hell of an entertainer.
kayfabe is the core of wrestling and in spirit is just reality television. Fake events that are purported as real. Thats also what youtube and social media are for most of these kids, its actually a perfect fit.

If you've watched it enough, you know how things are done.... combine that with an athletic build and a ton of money to be able to go and spend time training, and anyone of us could be good
That’s not remotely true. The arrogance of some of the people on this board is astounding, I would bet my life that I’m more athletic and active than you and there’s not a chance I could do what he did in that clip. I’m not sure if we have a bunch of ex-NFL linebacker olympic gymnasts posting on the MSB to think that routine would be easy to the average guy, but get real. Those rings are tall and 95% of people wouldn’t have the balls to jump off of them much less belly flop onto a table surrounded by concrete 10+ feet away
And this is coming from someone who absolutely hates the Paul brothers and what they’re doing to combat sports. The guy is impressive athletically there and what he pulled off in that clip was insanely difficult

your comments SCREAM "it's real to me damnit"
No, it's the fact that I know what it takes to train and become good at that. Neither you, or the poster I referenced are athletic enough to do it. There is more to it than acting.

So you basically stole ESPNs Marc Raimondi's tweet

They all know who's going to win he match before they step out the dressing room and how hey will go about doing it so he fans "OH an AH".
Fake arse shite is about as legit a sport as ESPN airing the National Scripp's Spelling Bee or that silly "Corn Hole" crap.
Who told you this?
Posted on 8/2/22 at 10:02 am to lsufb1912
I was a college athlete and I don’t care how much I trained there’s no way I’m pulling off flips like that.

The majority of nfl punters are more athletic than 99% of the population.
They are coordinated, flexible, and very strong in the legs & core.

I don’t watch wrestling except for the occasional viral clip (like this one) but does anyone know if McAfee is doing anything like this with the high spots and flips?

I don't get it. I don't hear anyone saying "you know The Fast and Furious is fake, right?"

Maybe, but are NFL punters more athletic than another 20,000 skill position players in NCAAF? no way
What Pat McAfee/Logan Paul/etc can do in pro wrestling is somewhat impressive, but let's not act like they're doing something so incredible that much better athletes couldn't also do.
