I took a peek at the TT 247 board to see if they were at all embarrassed for their school. To put it succinctly, they are not.

They believe this is a normal story that will just blow over. It obviously isn’t. They also believe this is somehow only happening because they’re Texas Tech and everyone is against them (prior to this) and it has nothing to do with an unprecedented situation. They’re idiots.

I mean... without clicking on the link, Im sure they are reacting like any other fanbase would react after finding out their QB1 will be suiting up after being ruled ineligible.

That situation could easily be in LSU's lap if Sorsby decided to come here... so there's no judgement from me.

Like Saban said last week, the NCAA doesnt have any power to enforce their own rules. They just get tied up in legal battles now.

They should make Texas tech forfeit any games that Sorsby plays in. Thats the only thing they can do that has any teeth. Is a local judge able to overrule a forfeit?

I would be embarrassed as a Tiger fan if LSUs President and AD did what TTUs did.

Avoiding responsibility and playing the victim instead of accepting the consequences of terrible decision making is awful leadership. I wouldn’t support it at all if the ball were in LSUs court.

Do you think they'd feel this way if it were the Longhorns in their spot?

I would be beyond embarrassed to be a TTU alum. Spending stupid money to win is, unfortunately, the name of the game these days, but this is a whole other level of disgraceful.

I mean let’s say they do well enough with Sorsby to make the playoff. Can’t the playoff committee just not allow them in? Then what’s the point of all of this if you can’t win a championship?

I would be embarrassed if I was a Texas Tech fan.

Even if they somehow win the championship this season, it’ll be an asterisk season.

I'm willing to forget and forgive some gray area eligibility shite.

Gambling on your own team is the cardinal rule. You cannot do that and ever be eligible in the league you perpetrated the act in again. I'd 100% say that if he was at LSU.

When it's your team people don't care, at all. Not surprising.
