Athens GA is a great American city! Lived there for a few years after graduating LSU. Great music, awesome bar and food scene, beautiful part of the country. Close enough to a major city but not in one.

Fayetteville/NW Arkansas is another beautiful place with nice people and things to do!
He is saying what I want to hear, therefore I am supportive of that message  :geauxtigers:

Welp that was the worst thing that could've happened
How bout just a simple "thanks for the information, Cap." This is why we can't have nice things.

Ah I'm sure he'll just come here out of a commitment to winning and being part of a storied football program!

Thank you and others for thoughtful, well informed takes that account for what I was looking for!

And a couple guys in here touting the mini van, which trust me I love our Sienna! We call it the Mommy Missile and have made many good memories in there.

Advice on truck purchase

Posted by One Arm Steve on 4/17/25 at 3:14 pm
For the truck owners and aficionados out here, I'd like some advice on which truck model to consider. Obviously as the greasy car salesman says "the feel of the wheel seals the deal", but would appreciate some perspective from the folks who have had multiple before.

Background: we live in a suburban area, have three young kids that are starting to get into sports, like to take the kayaks to the river/lake and such. Have driven Toyotas/Lexus for all of my adult life and love them, but not sure where Tundras sit in the world of trucks. Reliability is probably the determining factor. Don't foresee towing much more than a small boat at this time. Wife has a minivan that we use mostly for getting around town, but it's difficult to fit much in there besides people.

Thanks in advance!
It really was a nice looking ball park. We brought tailgate chairs and posted up in the left field area, lots of other LSU fans around. Crazy watching players field balls bouncing off the wall.

Agree with what someone said about the organ, gives it a classic feel. Nice experience overall (minus the poor showing from our guys)
Bahaha yes as I came back for responses I thought "shite this isn't a teams message!"

Appreciate the responses so far! Should be beautiful this weekend. If any fellow tigers are tailgating we will come say hello!
Hey team- taking my family (wife and 3 young tiger fans) to the Plains to catch some LSU baseball. Is anyone familiar with the ballpark and overall experience there?

If anyone has lunch/dinner/tailgate recommendations I would be much obliged!
Absolutely. Before UGA 2018 my buddy and I talked about how we just "felt" we would win.

That same friend was diagnosed with a terrible condition that took his life shortly before the 2019 Alabama game. Going into that weekend, I had the same feeling of clarity, and the Tigahs delivered.

RIP my guy!
Cap, thanks as always for typing this up for those at work and can't listen to a video!

Tax cuts spur corporations to make more investments and employ more people.

Also- think about how much simply doubling the standard deduction has helped an average American the last 8 years.

It's not a problem if you're not spending more money than you have.

As a GA resident they can kiss my arse with this bill.

Also, Brandon Beach is an LSU alumnus.
Came for the recruit info, stayed to watch LE get owned
