How embarrassing. I hope this burns in their stupid faces for a long time. Iowa and Iowa State players got season bans and careers ended for betting on sports they weren't even competing in, No questions asked. I hope them D bags realize that they were probably the final nail in the coffin that ruined college athletics! I owe an apology to Texas and T A&M for always thinking they were the crazies in that state.

Keep in mind that the message boards are usually full of the most radical / die hard fans. I'd like to think the majority of TT alum aren't feeling good about this.

Curious as to how The Pirate, if still alive & coaching there, would handle this.

And this is why you hedge and sign multiple QBs in the portal like LSU/Kiffin did.

If something happened to Leavitt, it would suck, but I don’t think there would be a huge panic with Longstreet and Clark waiting in the wings.

I know it a different time, but LSU has had no problems kicking star players off the team in the past (Perrilloux/Honey Badger).

The CFP needs to tie eligibility for the playoffs to the NCAA's eligibility rules, and tell TTU that they aren't getting in if he plays.

You think there's a world where LSU gives up a home football game and all the revenue that comes with it?

Personally, I don’t want anyone with a gambling problem anywhere near LSU. It’s not going to go away.

In the past we didn’t used to redistrict the House of Representatives in the middle of a decade just because parties were scared to lose

In the past we fired Will Wade.

Do you think they'd feel this way if it were the Longhorns in their spot?

No because the Longhorns already refused to play Tech so its not Tech's problem

Sankey spoke out against bama basketball. Also wrote affadavit for ncaa in court case. SEC Conference would not allow this.

Frankly I think Sorsby is owed damages along with being allowed to play

Seriously. There plenty of Penn State fans who still think Paterno is a god.

They sound like Astros fans defending the cheating. “Everyone else is doing it so it’s ok”

It doesn’t fricking matter how fan bases react. Speak for the moral, right thing, whether it’s good for your fan base or not. This is beyond gross

Every other player is betting on college football, including their own team?

ALL of college football is moving in the same direction on this. Texas Tech may be in a lot of trouble if they don’t back off on Sorsby playing.

I understand that... I dont agree with it. It is what it is until the rules are changed. Just like every other corrupt issue within this sport. My point is... People pick and choose what they feel is morally right/wrong depending on what/who they support... From the White House on down to Collegiate Sports. This is just a mirror image of whats been going on in this country for the last 18 months. People in power been doing whatever the hell they feel like doing.
