Bills needed to jump up if they wanted an impact WR.

They traded back

They could have had Xavier Worthy if they wanted him

I’m not sold. I don’t think he’ll ever be consistently available

Worthy isn’t great yet thank god or the Coleman pick would be all that more painful

I was so pissed bills didn’t trade up for BTJ during the draft and last year made me irate but that dude can’t catch shite anymore. It’s wild

They’ve been consistently bad at finding a wr for whatever reason, but Beane is a good GM

I overall am happy with Beane. I wish he would get more agressive with in season trades but maybe he is and teams just won’t deal

That shite was easy as hell to see with the naked eye while he was at FSU.

I think I even made a thread about it.

The guy simply isn’t good at WR and it’s obvious.

They’re averaging over 30 points per game with no receivers

Season: 27.8

Gm 1-3: 34 PPG (Opponents combined 2-18 record)
Gm 4-6: 22.6 PPG (Opponents combined 9-11 record)

Have you watched them at all?

Ravens: 41. Was a miracle comeback. Ravens gifted them 14+
Jets: 30. Coasted. Looked good.
Dolphins: 31 Didn't look great
Saints: 31 - Offense was abysmal until 4Q
Patriots: 20. Fumble fest.
Falcons: 14. Looked like one of the worst offenses in football. Lost by 10 with 9 more minutes of possession.

fair, but I am not sure he will be consistently great in the NFL, so it hard for me to bag on the Bills for not just taking Worthy.

Counterpoint: he’s actually pretty good and your post is dumb.

Aren't all 3 of those stats separation stats? We know he doesn't get separation; he didn't in college, yet he was still a good WR. Sounds like a scheme issue.

If you can’t get separation and you can’t win routes what scheme is good for you?

Isn’t that a noted problem for a number of great college WRs that didn’t pan out?

Guys like Treylon Burks or N’Keal Harry come to mind. Not great route runners in college but put up big numbers by outmuscling / out jumping weaker college DBs.

He’s a great athlete who’s playing wide receiver. Not a great wide receiver who’s also an athlete.

Doesn’t seem like he’s too interested at becoming a good wide receiver either.

By NFL receiver standards I’m not sure he’s a particularly great athlete which is one of the issues
