He was already going to be honored by LSU. His number was probably already going to be “retired” in the same way others have been without it being taken out of circulation.

This entire situation pretty much disqualifies your dumbass post. He’s made it to the NFL and is still spending time worrying about his fricking college Jersey number being used by another player. Whether it’s him or he’s allowing his mom to do it, it’s a crazy thing to do.
If Jayden actually took offense then you release what would still weird statement and say you wish they had left it unassigned. You don’t lawyer up then try to get a trophy removed from campus
