No, I grew up a Green Bay fan - my Dad liked Green Bay because before the Saints came along Jimmy Taylor played for them and was an integral part of most of their championship teams in that era.

He stuck with them so I became a fan as well, but over time, probably culminating with Brees an Peyton coming here I became a Saints fan. I still like the Pack though, they are my second favorite.

Lifetime diehard Saints fan here, although the NFL luster is fading due to its own hand.

Just as a side note, you can date that lunchbox to 1976 due to the fact that it shows the expansion Bucs in the AFC.

ETA: The Bengals helmet was about as lazy as you could get.

I had that lunch box in kindergarten, they other side was the NFC and it had the Seattle Seahawks. That year the Saints and Seahawks were in the same division.

Seahawks, 49ers, Rams, Falcons, Buccaneers, Panthers, Redskins, Cowboys, Eagles, Browns, Cardinals, Steelers have all at one time been divisional opponents of the Saints

Same here. Watched every game on pins and needles when I was young, and they were terrible. The NFL isn’t as important to me today as it was then, but I’m still all Saints.

12YO 49ers beat the hated cowboys with THE CATCH

Everyone in the neighborhood liked the boys, falcons or skins. In Charleston we got that combination every week. Only 3 games and MNF

Growing up, my favorite teams were the Rams, and the Falcons. The Rams because I rooted for them in the very first Superbowl I ever watched. Also Marshall Faulkner was on the cover of Madden 01 I believe.
I was a Falcons fan strictly because of Michael Vick. As soon as he left the team, there went my supposed fandom.

But I was a young kid during those times, I barely even watched football. The first full season I actually truly watched and paid attention to football. I decided at the first game I would root for my Dad's team(Saints). I take immense pride in the fact that my first full season of being a true football fan, my team won the Superbowl.

Saints sucked then and the Saints suck now. At least there were some highs in the middle.
