Bama absolutely deserved to make the CFP, but wanted them left out, to force the rid of the championship games.
No, because I remember the year OU, TU, and TX tech finished 7-1 in division, and was decided by BCS Rankings, and they are probably better than human bias.

Everyone was getting paid. Had a former Bama walk-on tell me some women volleyball players were getting paid.
