Like it or not, Vick changed the game. Imagine if he would be in his prime now what creative OC's could do with him?

Cut short due to prison. So not overrated.

But wasn’t his decision making the thing that put him in prison? His decision making on the field was pretty terrible too. So overrated.

This. What Deion was to CBs, Michael Vick is for QBs

Overrated as a winning QB maybe
As entertaining QB.. No. I watched falcon's games just to see something spectacular... And I don't like the falcons

Vick is romanticized by a lot of the same people who shite on Lamar Jackson.

Tua Tagovailoa is the most overrated player ever. Excessively hyped in college to the point that crap NFL teams were actually tanking games so they could draft his noodle arm.

This is dumb. He was hyped because he was really fricking good at Bama, and capped his freshman season with a NC winning, historic, improbable touchdown, never having started a college football game.

He might have been overrated coming out of college entering the draft, but the vast majority of top college QBs are overrated in the draft and don't live up to expectations. Besides, most people aren't hyping him up at the current moment.

Way ahead of his time. In today’s offenses, he’d slay even more.

He pretty much changed the game. Led VT to a title game.

Says the guy shoving Tua down our throats.

I hope Tua does well, but wait until he is mediocre before lauding him as anything but a serviceable backup.

I remember being in the Superdome one year when Vick and the Falcons played the Saints.

Late 4th quarter Saints had a slim lead.

Falcons got tue ball back and we all knew Vick was going to take Atlanta downfield and win.

It wasn’t even debatable that he wouldn’t.

I don’t think he’s overrated or underrated. Had he been able to complete his career without the dog fighting he’d be thought of a bit higher.

He was maybe the best athlete to ever play QB in the NFL and could do some things that just didn’t seem possible.

Not a great passer but that didn’t matter, that wasn’t how he beat you

He's not rated as a great QB, he's rated as the most exciting QB that ever played and that's what he was in my mind. Doing it in an I formation play action offense at VT and ATL is even more astonishing

I doubt anyone feels he is one of the greatest ever. However, he was uniquely gifted. I was fortunate to be at the national championship game Tech had vs FSU. FSU had all the best studs then and they couldn't touch him. FSU won because no one on the Tech team could help Vick.
