Les was able to get a ton of talent, just not at specific positions (QB). What he did get at those, he under developed due to antiquated schemes.
O would go get who he was told better than most everyone else, but when he actually had to strategize on who to target and at what position, he failed...

He also whiffed on his AB in the 9th with RISP, that would have won the game.
UNC had timely hits, LSU did not and was not very good at that part all season. ...
108th pitch, that is on coaches to know what their guy is capable of. Can't expect him to hit his spots that many pitches in. Call something better or change pitchers.
This staff does this team no favors. ...
